Ways to Spend Your Halloween

Spooky season is finally back, but never like it was before. With the pandemic going on, this year’s Halloween is going to be different for sure. Trick or treating will likely not happen,  which is a bummer. That doesn’t necessarily mean that Halloween is ruined this year, as there are other fun things to do during the spooky season besides trick or treating. In fact, people can still dress up indoors. I’ll be going over some excellent ideas on how to spend Halloween this year while  in quarantine.

1. Carve  Pumpkins

One of the best parts of Halloween is carving pumpkins, which has become  a tradition for many families and friends. Carving pumpkins allows everyone to get creative with their designs and see their pumpkin light up at night.

2. Make  Halloween Themed Treats

It’s always a good idea to make Halloween themed treats as another  way to get into the Halloween spirit. Cookies and cupcakes are the most common desserts to make when getting into the  holiday spirit using frosting or sprinkles. It’s also another way of allowing for people to create whatever they want that’s Halloween related.

3. Watch a Scary Movie

Who doesn’t love a good scare on Halloween? There are many Halloween- themed movies that can set the mood. The Addams Family, Hocus Pocus, and Goosebumps are some excellent Halloween movies.

4. Put on a Halloween Playlist

People can also spend their Halloween indoors by playing their favorite Halloween themed songs. People can sing along and dance to their favorite tunes in costume. “Spooky Scary Skeletons” has become a favorite for many people nowadays.

5. Make Some Halloween Decorations

Getting crafty on Halloween is another way for people to get creative and make personal  decorations. Maybe put on  some Halloween music to set the mood and get your family involved as well. It’s a chance for everyone to share their ideas.
