Stockton Serial Killer

Forty-three-year-old Wesley Brownlee was arrested on Saturday, October 15, 2022.

Brownlee had committed 5 homicides in April 2021 with a ghost gun and just got formally charged with 3 counts of murder on October 17th, 2022.

According to nbcnews.org, “A law enforcement source with knowledge of the record said that in early 1999 Brownlee was sentenced to two years in prison for possession for sale of a controlled substance. He was released on parole about seven months later”

Stockton police have already said the characteristics Brownlee looks for in his victims. Although he has a specific race he targets, Stanley McFadden has also claimed that there is no evidence of hate from Brownlee. His victims’ names are Paul Alexander Yaw, Salvador William Debudey Jr., Lorenzo Lopez, Jonathan Hernadez Rodriguez, and one more that has survived a shooting. A common factor that all the known victims shared was that they were all Hispanic men. Four out of the seven victims were also homeless.

He was arrested on October 15th, 2022. McFadden, the police chief, is out to believe that he was trying to find another victim to claim. McFadden said,  “Our surveillance team followed this person while he was driving. We watched his patterns and determined early this morning he was on a mission to kill. He was out hunting”

Wesley Brownlee was arrested at Winslow Way and Village Green Drive at 2 in the morning. Police confirmed to KCRA 3 that he did have a firearm in his waistband.

The murders have been going on from April 2021 to late September 2022. Make sure to look out around Stockton.
